Anna Gładka is a licensed psychiatrist and researcher, and Clinical Advisor to Serena. She graduated in medicine at Wrocław Medical University and completed her psychiatry specialisation at the University Clinical Hospital in Wrocław, where she worked in the Department and Clinic of Psychiatry.
She defended her doctorate in 2022 on the relationship between air pollution and depressive disorders and suicide. Her research interests include the environmental determinants of mental health and the effects of the pandemic on psychiatric outcomes.
In her clinical practice she treats patients with many psychiatric conditions including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, emotional disorders and insomnia, working in both Polish and English. Her day-to-day work in mental health treatment convinced her of the opportunities in augmenting traditional therapy with AI, and she reviews every article on this blog before it is published.
